ReplyDeleteHi Marlene!
ReplyDeleteI like this exercise a lot! You have done a very complete work because you have integrated three skills (speaking, reading and writing) in the same exercise. I think that this web quest is very interesting because it talks about an interesting current issue. Sometimes English exercises are based on unreal things and children don’t get motivated. In this exercise children can learn about current and past history and it is going to make them competent people. This exercise helps students to learn to learn because they have to be able to make research and use correctly the information given in the websites, they have to be able to write a biography and to explain the work done to the classmates. Therefore, this web quest helps to create a critical knowledge of the reality in English. They form their knowledge actively and amusingly. Finally, this web quest helps children to socialize and to work, to speak and to discuss in group.
Great job!
Hello Marlene,
ReplyDeleteIt's a good way to pay tribute to Mandela. I think that children should know what Mandela did for mankind as the fight for African rights against the white oppressive rule of apartheid and his contribution towards making South Africa one of the most democratic countries in Africa
This blog can help children to cooperate and accept different cultures and thoughts.
Congratulation!!
